For me there is nothing more fun than experimenting new sounds with The Smilin' Ghost. I can create sounds that I had not even imagined before.

Bio

Pietro Pancella is a young jazz fusion bassist and double bass player. He has already taken important stages, winning the first award of the “Chicco Bettinardi” competition, organized by the Piacenza Jazz Festival, and the first award of the “Tuscia in the European Jazz Award 2017” with the band “Koinaim”. He regularly collaborates with guitarists Christian Mascetta and Matteo di Leonardo with whom he won the “Zilina International Jazz Contest” in the best compositions section.
