James Edward Bagshaw

I guess this is the best sounding tape echo emulator I have ever heard.

James Edward Bagshaw.

Bio

Guitarist and singer, James Edward Bagshaw is founder of the Temples, one of the most famous psychedelic rock bands in England. The Temples were formed in Kettering in 2012 thanks to the meeting between James and bassist Tom Walmsley. The debut album, “Sun Structures”, was released in 2014 and was immediately a huge success with singles such as “Shelter Song”, “Colors to life” and “Mesmerise”, climbing the English chart up to 7th place . In 2017 the success is replicated with the album “Volcano”. James’s instrumentation sees Gretsch guitars, especially the White Falcon model, connected to Vox amplifiers through a pedalboard nourished in particular of vintage style effects, such as fuzz machines and tape echoes. From 2018 James uses on his pedalboard Ms. Delayette, the tape echo emulator made by TEFI Vintage Lab.
