Bio

Carlo Poddighe is a musician and singer-songwriter from Brescia, with a remarkable musical taste. He began to play live since adolescence. Excellent multi-instrumentalist (he plays guitar, piano, organ, drums), over the years he has worked as a live musician and in studio with Italian and foreign pop and rock/blues artists. One of the most successful projects is the “Poddighe” trio, which was founded in 1992 and has many concerts in both local and national events. The band offers a set that aims to rediscover the classics of the Sixties and Seventies, including Bob Marley, Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, Rolling Stones, James Brown, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, Lou Reed, Lucio Battisti, Ivano Fossati, Ivan Graziani and Lucio Dalla. In 2012 he released “Canzoni d’Asporto” which contains songs written since 1995 and ranges from classic rock to alternative pop of author. Recorded totally in analogic sound with distinctly ’70s sound at the studio “Poddighe” of which he is the owner together with his brother Andrea. Carlo is one of the closest collaborators of TEFI Vintage Lab; he was the one who provided the indications for the realization of the double preset “GainOver” overdrive which he constantly uses with any project.
